Niall's career in soccer began in local recreational leagues near his hometown in Vermont, and it wasn't until he began high school that he joined a
competitive travel team with experienced coaches and access to big tournaments. It was with this team--Black Watch Premier, in Albany, NY-- that Niall's love and commitment to the game truly flourished. Now, five years later, he competes at the semi-professional level in the UPSL with Olé FC CT.
After graduating high school, Niall worked as an intern for Full Funnel, a renowned marketing agency in the digital space. During this time, he learned a tremendous amount about why many businesses experience pain in a sales funnel and how these pain points can be relieved with digital marketing and an increased social media presence.
With more than 20 years experience working in the online world, Phil Monahan specializes in creating compelling social marketing campaigns and content that drive home brand messages and bring audiences back for more. The vast majority of his efforts have been in the sporting industry, where he has established himself as a proven expert at building communities and developing brand affinity and loyalty, which lead to sales.
A lifelong soccer fan who was raised on Toby Charles's "Soccer Made in Germany" in the late 1970s, he has been a Tottenham Hotspur supporter for 30 years. He has also coached and refereed at the youth level, where he witnessed many of the challenges that face youth programs.
